An Outfit That Celebrated Kerala's Tradition and Craftsmanship
One of the memorable milestones in our creative journey was designing Mohanlal's outfit for the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award ceremony.
For this significant occasion, Archers Lounge created an elegant off-white pure Banarasi silk jacquard kurta paired with a traditional silk mundu.
The design celebrated the richness of Indian textiles while maintaining a sophisticated and understated appearance.
A particularly meaningful detail was the custom-developed woven pattern, which subtly incorporated Mohanlal's name into the fabric. This personalised element made the creation unique to the occasion.
From the fabric selection to the custom weaving and final styling, every detail was thoughtfully considered.
